We invite proposals for a journal Special Issue aligned with IHCI 2025 themes, highlighting advances in Intelligent Human–Computer Interaction and adjacent areas.

Overview
IHCI Special Issues aim to consolidate state-of-the-art research and practice on key themes within Intelligent HCI. We encourage interdisciplinary topics bridging AI, design, systems, and human factors, and welcome both methodological and applied contributions.
Ethics & Open Science. Proposals should outline data/code sharing, preregistration (where applicable), and ethical review practices.
What to Include
- Title and 200–300 word rationale
- Scope, example topics, and target communities
- Guest Editors (names, affiliations, emails, short bios)
- Editorial workflow (review model, desk screening, conflicts policy)
- Publicity plan and timeline
- List of potential reviewers (indicative)

Review & Quality
All submissions to the Special Issue undergo standard journal peer review. Guest Editors manage the process with oversight from the journal’s Editorial Office. Conflicts of interest must be declared and handled per policy.

Submission
Email a single PDF (3–5 pages) titled “IHCI 2025 Special Issue Proposal – [Proposed Title]” including all sections listed above.
After acceptance: we will coordinate with the journal for the public CFP, submission portal, and production timeline. APC waivers/discounts (if any) will be clarified by the journal.
